The mission of the Hillsdale Community Library is to serve the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the citizens of Hillsdale and other townships. To accomplish this aim, the library relies on the generosity and support of its patrons and the greater Hillsdale community. Considering a year-end gift to the library? Did you know that the State of Michigan offers a tax credit for donations to Michigan public libraries? For more information on the Michigan Tax Credit, click here.
To allow you to maximize your gift to the library, you may chose to make a pledge, payable over the next three years.
Individual, family or business gifts made in someone's honor or memory offer a wonderful opportunity to remember that person in a special way.
Gifts-in-kind must be approved.
Gifts of appreciated securities are welcome and may provide tax advantages, depending on the donor's financial situation.
Gifts of real property, including real estate, art, etc., will be evaluated and accepted/declined on an individual basis.
If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be able to "double your dollars" to the library. Contact your human resource department for pertinent information before you complete your pledge card.
Designating the HCL in your estate planning through a bequest, a trust, or other method is a wonderful way to support the library.
