The Hillsdale Community Library is governed by a Board of Trustees chosen "for their fitness for office in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2.48.020 of the Hillsdale Municipal Code. Board members are appointed by the Mayor of Hillsdale. The current Board members are as follows:

Don Dunlop, Secretary
Dan Knoch, Vice President
Karen Hill
Jim Bowen
Nola Baker, Administrative Officer
