"LOVE YOUR LIBRARY" SILENT AUCTION TO BE HELD
Hillsdale Community Library will host a silent auction on Saturday, February 11th from 5-8 p.m at the library. The "Love Your Library" Silent Auction is being held to raise funding for shelving for our Pulver Collection. We are most anxious to receive shelving for this collection so that our library patrons can have access to this wonderful collection. The collection was donated by John Pulver who grew up in Hillsdale and spent many hours at the Mitchell Library. All of the books in the collection have something to do with Michigan or they were written by a Michigan author. The fiction books will be housed at Hillsdale Community Library while the non-fiction books will be housed at the Mitchell Research Center.
The cost for this event is $5.00 per person. This event is for those age 18 and over only. We will serve coffee, tea, appetizers, and CHOCOLATE!
You will have the opportunity to place silent bids on items donated from local businesses. If you are a business owner and would like to donate an item, please contact our library director, Nola Baker at (517) 437-6472.
Please join us for a fun evening.
